As an Advertising OperationsSpecialist,you will support the business objectives of the Ads on Groupon team by trafficking and managing advertising campaigns for traditional display as well as proprietary products and maximizing yield of programmatic channels. You will learn and help develop new processes as this still growing business adds products and explores new opportunities.We're a "best of both worlds" kind of company. Let's get into the details:You'll be spending time on: Building campaigns for our new Sponsored Listing (paid search) productBuilding and managing campaigns for traditional display ads: on site, in app, and in emailServing as subject matter expert for partner dashboards and proprietary internal products while reinforcing best practicesDeveloping and optimizing our audience-based ad offeringsGrowing our programmatic yield management strategyWorking directly with sales to win new accounts and build campaignsManaging 3rd-party ad tech vendorsEngaging with engineering to implement and optimize tags and ad units, and troubleshoot issues with products We're excited about you if you have:3+ years experience managing PPC sponsored listings/paid search advertising productsExperience running digital advertising campaigns in ad servers (Google Ad Manager/Doubleclick For Publishers preferred)Knowledge of Programmatic Guaranteed, Private Marketplace, and Header Bidding campaignsA willingness to roll up your sleeves and execute while growing the businessAn excellent communicator, both in-person and via keyboardYour analytical mindset leads to a bias for actionTrack record of working cross-functionally with a diverse set of partnersWorking knowledge of front-end and back-end web technologies, and a real passion for digital advertisingOrder Management System (OMS) experience: (Operative One, Placements.io etc.)Salesforce.com experienceAdvanced Excel/Google Sheets knowledge#LI-RemoteGroupon's purpose is to build strong communities through thriving small businesses.
