Shift: 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM

Experience:

22 months of role experience is required.

Experience with Epic is required.

Requirements:

Candidates must have a license in hand at the time of application.

This role may require floating to additional units and locations

Candidates must live at least 50 miles away from this facility in order to be eligible to apply for this role.

COVID vaccination required for onboarding. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

Additional Details:

Daily Caseload per tech: 12-20

Procedural Responsibilities: Cases Include Diagnostic, Emergent, and known intervention cardiac cases. Tech will complete Impella, Balloon Pump, CTO, Athrectomy, Structural Heart (TAVR, Watchman) PFO, cardiomems, EKOS, loop recorders, occasional pacemakers, etc.

Weekend Req: Yes

Is on-call required: Yes; Approx 5-7 days/month

Open to accommodating block schedule: Yes

BLS Instructor, Provider, and RQI are acceptable

Guaranteed Hours: 36 or 40h contract

All travelers are expected to float between all facilities within a given state.

Candidates will float within hospital or to an affiliate hospitals nearby

Scrub and circulate skills required. Monitor and EKG skills preferred.

Balloon angioplasty, PCI, Stents, Thrombectomy, Impella insertion, Left/right heart catherization, Rotablader, Paracentenesis, Hemo Dynamic Monitoring experience required.

Watchman Procedures, Septal Closure, Pacemaker/Defib device placement, TAVI/TAVR procedure experience preferred.

Scrub Color: Any (no reddish orange permitted)

RTO: Aya Offer: 5 Days. Anything more than 5 Days will potentially delay your offer while we run approval by the client. To minimize turn around, please limit total RTO requests.

Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays (Thanksgiving, Xmas Eve, Xmas Day, NYE, NYD)

Return Staff Policy: 3 month rule to return as traveler

References covering 1 year of employment

Maximum days off: 5 days
