DescriptionOVERVIEW:The Manager, Media Operations (Budget) is the liaison between Clients, Planning, Investment, shared resources and agency Operations. You will ensure that the overall day to day client objectives are met and are effectively communicated amongst the various teams working on a particular business. This role will focus on development, management and application of process and systems.YOUR IMPACT:Work closely with the main agency client lead to deliver all client operational and reporting requirementsResponsible for setting client reporting templates such as budget roll-ups, billing, PO tracking, competitive, MediaTools, etc.Monitor current client needs to ensure timely reporting and reconciliationWork with Media teams on monthly media actualizations and reconciliationsEnsure that each department (planning, buying, etc.) is streamlined to effectively meet objectivesResponsible for the evaluation of quarterly, actual, and on-going projectionsInteract on a daily basis with relevant internal and external stakeholdersThorough understanding of the fundamentals of Media Planning and Strategy, Media Buying, Account Management, and the agency environmentStrong communication and analytic skillsProficiency with Excel skills, including Pivot TablesStrong numbers focusOther responsibilities as assignedYOUR PEOPLE SKILLS:Must have the ability and desire to help lead, and a willingness to work with and teach others within the groupInspire while leading by example in developing, motivating, mentoring, and coaching team membersAbility to work in a team environment that promotes collaborationAdept at communicating effectively across all levelsAble to establish and maintain effective relationships interdepartmentally as well as those outside the immediate teamYOUR DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:Skills & Behaviors:Strong communication and analytic skillsProficiency with Excel skills, including pivot tables mandatoryProficiency with DDS(MediaOcean) and MediaTools preferredAbility to translate data into well-articulated ideasStrong numbers focusThorough understanding of the fundamentals of Media Planning and Strategy, Media Buying, Account Management, and the agency environmentCapacity to anticipate the client needsQualifications & Other Relevant Information: Bachelor's Degree preferred6+ years related experienceKey Competencies:Applies knowledge about the current and future practices and trends, technology, and information to the businessDemonstrates awareness of the competition and opportunities for the business and our clientsIs able to understand complex situations and makes good decisions that are judged to be successfulDevelops ideas to think beyond the obvious solution; is flexible and can cope with changeAble to negotiate diplomatically and skillfully with both internal and external groups; can settle differences quickly and efficiently, minimizing damage to relationships; gains trust quicklyABOUT MEDIACOM:Welcome innovators, initiative takers and instigators.
