We have a client in Central Connecticut looking for an Invasive Cardiologist. This is a Locum assignment with possible conversion to joining the team permanently if the right Provider is found.
- Dates of Coverage: Immediate for 3-6 months with possible extension
- Schedule: 1-2 weeks coverage per month (Mon-Sundays on site with night telephonic call and come in as needed)
- Call Ratio: 1:4
- Average Number of Inpatient Admissions Per Physician Per Day: approx 6-12 per day total/with APP support
- Trauma Level/Designation: Level One
DESIRED SKILL-SET
Non-Invasive Procedures: Echocardiography,Electrical Cardioversions,Electrocardiograms (EKGs),Treadmill Stress Tests,Chemical Stress Tests.
Invasive Procedures: Angioplasty and Stenting,Embolic Protection,Balloon Angioplasty,Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI),Temp pacemakers/balloon pump.
REQUIREMENTS - Board Certified - Required
- ACLS - Required
- CT License - Highly preferred
- Local Providers- Highly preferred
