CLINICAL IMPLEMENTATION SPECIALIST (CIS)100% REMOTEDSS, Inc. is a nationally known software development company specializing in E H R software development for the healthcare industry. We are currently seeking a Clinical Implementation Specialist for our VistA Chemotherapy Manager software product. The CIS acts as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and supports clients and the organization in various situations while guiding software requirements through the process of implementation, testing, delivery and technical support.Experienced candidates will be a clinical professional, preferably a background in oncology and implementation of EHR software. LPN or RN with oncology background is preferred.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Essential Duties:Travel approximately 36 weeks per year to include weekends and holidays when necessary while abiding by DSS Employee Expense Compliance AgreementCreation and delivery of Training Plans, Syllabi, Web Based Presentations and Training MaterialsProvide on-site, in person training in both classroom settings and one on one mentoring formatsProvide on-site support during customer Go LiveSubmits signed, on-site certification documents upon completion of trainingOther Duties:Delivers product demonstrations to potential or existing clients as well as internal staffReviews application set up with appropriate staffUnderstands and evaluates Clinical Workflow ProcessResponsible for verbal and written communication with clients and documentation of work activities and work processesParticipates in internal and external Site Kick Off callsAttends Scrum Calls, Sprint Planning Sessions, Core Team Meetings, Development Planning Meetings as directedParticipates in Quality Assurance Testing and troubleshooting of productAssists Documentation Department in the creation of Product ManualsGathers requirements for workflow process and is involved with the configuration of applicationWorks on Home Based Assignments when not on the road as given by the Training Manager or DirectorCross train on other products as assigned by Training DirectorAbides by policies set forth in DSS and Departmental Handbook including Timesheet and Expense submissionsThe preceding functions are examples of the work performed by employees assigned to this job classification.
