Advertised Job Summary

The project manager will responsible for managing the CLIA Laboratory activities, programs, and projects. Will assist in the development and administration of the CLIA Laboratory objectives and strategic goals. The project manager will serve as professional liaison to internal and external stakeholders and is responsible for building collaborative relationships supporting the activities of the CLIA Laboratory.

The project manager will manage and coordinate the daily activities of the CLIA Laboratory; projects, sample collections, transportation of samples, diagnostic activities and identify needs and available resources for the Lab; assist with designing, developing, implementing, and evaluating efforts for the Lab. Preparation of reports and assist with funded budgets, maintain balances, coordinate initiatives, assess potential sources of funding. Will be required to travel to various off-campus locations and serve as the Privacy Officer of the CLIA Laboratory.


Bachelor's degree and knowledge of administrative and business management principles and practices, strong computer and organizational skills and experience in Excel a plus. Strong written and oral communication skills is strongly preferred.
