Shift: Night Shift (6 PM - 2 AM, Monday-Friday)

Position Overview:
Our client is currently seeking a Quality Control (QC) Technician for our ISO-certified manufacturing plant in Gainesville, Texas. This role is crucial for maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency in our production processes. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-process, finished product, compression, and thickness sampling and testing.
- Prepare samples for lab testing adhering to standard operating and safety procedures.
- Retrieve samples from the warehouse for testing during non-operational hours.
- Assist the Technical and Quality teams with quality control sampling, testing, and trial projects.
- Communicate effectively with production operators and leadership.
- Ensure all activities are performed in a safe manner.
- Address and escalate abnormal or out-of-specification quality control results.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in quality control areas.
- Undertake additional projects and tasks as required.
Technical Knowledge/Skills:
- Intermediate mathematical and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in G-Suite.
- Understanding of manufacturing concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Experience with quality control testing in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
General Knowledge/Skills:

Physical Requirements:
- Frequent sitting, walking, standing; occasional climbing, stooping, kneeling.
- Ability to perform detailed testing in various conditions.
- Must be able to lift/move up to 10 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
Education/Experience:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Minimum 3 years of quality experience in a fast-paced manufacturing setting preferred.
- Forklift experience is a plus.
