Fort Walton Beach Medical Center, located on Florida's Emerald Coast, seeks a
Registered Nurse to join our Outpatient Surgery Team! This role will work full time day shifts. On-call time is required for this role.
POSITION SUMMARY: This role will provide professional nursing care to patients utilizing the nursing process. The OP RN will collaborate with other members of the health care delivery team including physicians, to deliver quality health care.

Qualifications
EDUCATIONREQUIRED AND/OR PREFERRED: - Associate Degree or Diploma in Nursing required
- BSN preferred
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION:
- Current FL RN license required or appropriate compact licensure. If compact license held, active FL RN license required within 90 days of hire.
- BCLS-AHA Healthcare Provider certification required at the time of hire
- ACLS within 90 days of hire required
- PALS within 90 days of hire required
- CAPA (Certified Ambulatory Perianesthesia Nurse)preferred
- AAANC (American Academy of Ambulatory Care Nurses) preferred
EXPERIENCEREQUIRED OR PREFERRED:
- Acute care experience required
