Med/Surgnurses are the master coordinators of the unit, juggling care for their patientswhile keeping the entire health care team on the same page. They havehigh-level critical thinking skills, vast clinical knowledge, and are able tostay calm under pressure.
About this unit: - 27-bed Acute Cardiac Care Unit
- Great experience for RNs that want to care for cardiac patients with CHF, post Cath Lab patients, and post CABG patients
- Amazing team work throughout all levels Physicians, Leadership, RNs, PCTs
Responsibilities: - The Registered Nurse is a professional nurse who assumes responsibility and accountability for the delivery and management of patient care. S/he utilizes the nursing process, the healthcare environment, and current technology to provide a climate which optimizes patient care and staff development.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing
- Current Louisiana or Compact RN license required
- Current BLS
- Excellent oral/written communication,interpersonal, organizational and leadership skills required
