As an OR CirculatorRegistered Nurse you must be detail oriented, flexible, able to juggle multiplepriorities without missing a beat, adept with technical skills, a team player,and must have excellent communication skills. You must also be able to thinkcritically in a fast-paced, challenging environment. There are many surgicalsub-specialties for learning, including neurosurgery, cardiac surgery, trauma,pediatrics, oncology, general surgery, urology, ophthalmology, ear/nose/throat,dental, orthopedics, plastic and reconstructive, and transplant surgery.

Responsibilities: The OR Circulator provides patient care throughutilization of the nursing process. Thenursing process is demonstrated by the staff RNs ability to workcollaboratively with the interdisciplinary health care team in planning,directing, implementing, and evaluating patient care. May supervise RNs, LPNs, technicians, unit secretaries,nursing students, and nursing assistants.
