As an Endoscopy Nurse, you will contribute to the companys mission and vision by planning, executing, and evaluating the nursing care given to GI patients. You will plan and deliver safe, effective nursing care until the patient is transferred to recovery. You will perform circulating and/or scrub duties for patients.
What you will do in this role:
You will demonstrate knowledge of GI procedures
You will oversee instrument and equipment set-up
You will circulate and coordinate the room during your patient's case
Facilitate effective and efficient transition between procedures
Utilizes preference cards and update cards when changes are made
Wasatch Endoscopy Center 54401 is proud to have a long and distinguished reputation as a provider of ambulatory surgical care serving Salt Lake City, UT and the residents of Salt Lake County. Wasatch Endoscopy Center is a licensed, accredited, freestanding endoscopy center located on the campus of St. Mark's Hospital. Wasatch Endoscopy Center performs elective, diagnostic endoscopies for ambulatory patients with gastrointestinal complaints. We perform about 350 cases per month and have 3 procedure rooms. We are a AAAHC facility for HCA Healthcare , who has been named one of the worlds most ethical companies by Ethisphere since 2010.

Qualifications
Qualificationsfor this role:
NursingDiploma
Minimumof 2 years of experience in an operating room setting; preferably in anambulatory surgery center
RNlicense required or appropriate compact licensure
ValidBCLS Certification upon employment. online certification not acceptable.
ACLSas required by facility
CNOR/ SGNA certification preferred
