Job Summary:
Join our team as a Warehouse Agent at our Spokane facility and become part of a dynamic work environment committed to safety and efficiency. This role involves critical tasks such as loading and unloading materials using a forklift, maintaining a clean and safe workspace, and accurately managing inventory discrepancies against shipping manifests.
Essential Functions:
- Use manifests to pull routes, stage freight, and assist drivers in loading and unloading trucks.
- Handle materials which may include picking, packing, scanning, kitting (as applicable), and counting products.
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of packaging and systems work.
- Safely operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Comply with all TSA and OSHA guidelines to maintain a safe and secure work environment.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Skills/Competencies:
- Proficient in operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and using banding/shrink wrap materials.
- Experienced in using RF scan guns.
- Ability to read and comprehend detailed work instructions in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong teamwork capabilities and the ability to work well with others.
- Basic Microsoft Office and data entry skills preferred.
- High attention to detail.
- Ability to lift and move items weighing over 50 lbs unassisted.
Experience:
- At least one year of experience in a warehouse setting.
- Verifiable experience operating reach trucks and sit-down counterbalance forklifts.
Physical Requirements:
- Must wear steel-toed boots/safety shoes.
- Capable of standing and walking for extended periods.
- Frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, and lift objects above the head.
- Regularly lift/move up to 50 pounds.
- Frequent use of pallet jacks and forklifts.
